Infinix Note 7 Lite

Infinix Note 7 Lite The phone comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Infinix Note 7 Lite is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Infinix Note 7 Lite runs Android 10 and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Infinix Note 7 Lite on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 1.6-micron; a second 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture; a third 2-megapixel camera and a fourth 0.3-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

The Infinix Note 7 Lite runs XOS 6.0 based on Android 10 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB). The Infinix Note 7 Lite is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Infinix Note 7 Lite measures 165.00 x 76.80 x 8.70mm (height x width x thickness) .

UPDATED: Infinix Partners With Airtel to Launch the NOTE7 in Uganda

Infinix Mobility has partnered with Airtel Uganda to launch the Infinix NOTE7 with its lite version, the Infinix NOTE7 Lite in Uganda. Infinix says the launching the two handsets, aims at providing its users with an ultimate smartphone experience at a reasonable price.

The company delayed in launching its handsets due to the outbreak of the conoravirus that was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). However, the phone coming to Uganda is the company’s first smartphone this year in the country looking at the company has already announced a couple of smartphones this year but neither has been launched in Uganda other than the NOTE7 and NOTE7 Lite.

In this partnership, Airtel is offering 5GB of data valid for a month when one buys any of the handsets.

Ms. Remmie Kisakye; Airtel Uganda Head Brand and Communications said, as part of the objective to drive digital inclusion, “we’re now in partnership with Infinix for their launch of the all upgraded smartphone Infinix NOTE7 and offering infinix customers free 5GB data for the first month.”

“As Airtel, we are still committed to providing affordable data and internet usage and we are continuing to make sure this is available for all Ugandans and this is made possible through partnerships such as the one with Infinix Uganda,” she added.

Airtel claims that the partnership will not only see Ugandans enjoy first class services using upgraded devices affordably but also drive the digital inclusion agenda.

Infinix has ditched the X-Pen on the NOTE7, as well as made some huge changes as compared to its predecessors. For instance, the company has removed the fingerprint sensor from the back placing it on side below the volume buttons.

Looking at the specifications for the phone, the phone comes with a 6.95-Inch HD Infinity-O display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. This phablet sized beast spots a mid-range gaming chip, the mediatek Helio G70 Octa-core processor, The company increased the internal storage to 128GB with a 6GB RAM running on Android 10 topped on the company’s XOS v6.0 skin to smoothly run the phone.

The dual-SIM comes with a quad-rear camera designed much like the one seen on the Nokia 7.2 phablet. The sensors of the rear camera are at 48MP (wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (dedicated video camera). The front-facing punch hole camera comes with a 16MP (wide). Both the cameras shoot videos at 1080p at 30fps.

The phone is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 5,000 mAh battery which supports fast charging 18W.

The phone is available country wide in all Infinix and Airtel stores priced at UGX833,00 for the 6GB/128GB, UGX734,000 for the 4GB/64GB, and UGX655,000 for the 4GB/64GB. They come in three color options; Forest Green, Aether Black, and Bolivia Blue.
